Alertix - The test that may revolutionize cancer diagnostics

If you suspect cancer it is essential to be able to make an accurate diagnosis as soon as possible. The first step is a careful examination of the animal. Until now the only option has been a veterinary examination. If the veterinarian finds lumps that can’t be explained naturally, or if the animal exhibits symptoms as fatigue, hemorrhage, pain, anorexia, weight loss or urinary or fecal dysfunction, there is reason to investigate further. Now a simple blood test can give all the answers needed.

Alertix Immunodiagnostic Test: A Cost-Effective and Timely Solution for Cancer Detection

In that case, Alertix’ immunodiagnostic test is an excellent option. The test is based on a standard format and suitable for blood tests, hence it is cost effective. After the blood sample is submitted, you will receive the test result within a week. This, together with a following physical examination, may provide a solid basis for a treatment decision.

If the value of the biomarker TK1 is normal, there are probably other explanations than cancer for the symptoms. Should the TK1 value be significantly elevated, however, it is a strong indication of a growing tumor. In that case, it is important to follow up with further investigations – e.g. diagnostic imaging or a biopsy if possible.
